Jack and Sally's Song

Jack and Sally's Song
From Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas

Little ditty, about Jack and Sal
Two frightening kids growing up as Halloween's pal.
Jacky goin' be a pumpking king
Sally's taking care -- some weird mad-doctor thing.

Sittin' with a were-a-wolf outside a haunted house
Sal sittin' on Jack's lap, stitchin' up her arm and blouse.
Jack say, "Hey Sal, I'll make the best 'ween ever"
Mix it all up with Christmas time, it'd be so clever.

Say uh, oh yeah the fright goes on
Long after the scared and living are gone
Say uh, oh yeah the fright goes on
Long after their lives are totally gone. They walk on.

Jacky sits back, puts hand out to pet Zero
Fire in his eyes like he's Emp'or Nero.
Then Sal's gotta run off to Dr. Finklestein
Sal says, "Jack, take care what you're doin'."
Jack says uh,

Oh yeah the fright goes on
Long after the month of October is gone
Oh yeah, I'll make the fright go on
Long after December twenty-five's gone.

Gonna get that Sand, Sandy Claws
Get a sleigh and break some global speed laws.
Lock, Shock, and Barrel won't get in my way
Bet my heart's gonna grow two whole sizes that day

Oh yeah, the fright goes on
Kids get a thrill from their Xmas socks.
Oh yeah, the fright goes on
A spider in wrapping, a ghoul in a box.

Little ditty, about Jack and Sal
Two frightening kids growing up as Halloween's pal.
