Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

January 1994

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is a novel type of ride in which guests in cars which can be spun around a central axis as they travel through scenes from Roger's films and cartoons. This attraction is what Disneyland refers to as a "dark" ride, meaning that it features a number of dark, disturbing images (including an electrocution).

The queue is one of the best in the park. It is decorated like Toon Town from the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and is worth taking a slow walk through even if there is a huge, impatient line behind you. Beware that the scene in which a poor, little, animated shoe is being prepared to be dropped in a barrel of "dip" and killed is mildly disturbing. Small children may not like this, particularly if the line is slow or the ride is delayed, and you are trapped standing next to the pathetic figure, listening to its hopeless screams of terror, for an extended period of time.
