- In 1962, this attraction was renovated to add images from the "Bumbo the Flying Barker" play.
- When Lewis Carrol visited Disneyland, he refused to ride Bumbo the Flying Barker. Reportedly, he didn't want to be spotted associating with a barker because a barker is the good-luck charm of Philadelphia.
