Hi

I am in California having a good visit with my aunt it was 102 yester day we were at sea World in Sandiego Waley

Here’s a lesson in manners: Don’t call your aunt “it,” particularly if you’re visiting for her 102nd birthday, and don’t brag about going to Sea World instead of to her party. It’s just rude.

Dear Moe

Spending 3-4 weeks here + there with my Trailer. If you had a phone you would have been at Mary’s funeral instead of sending me a note on the day she was buried. Also I would have liked to see Mrs. ___ but could not call you for the address.

Love George

Wow. Way to criticize someone for not having a phone, Mr. Lives in a Trailer in the 1970s Before Cell Phones Were Invented.

Hi!

Really having a great time!

Your Neighbors

There’s nothing that cheers the heart like a personal note from anonymous “neighbors.”

Hi Elizabeth,
from the sunny, hot south. Temps in the 90’s.

Having a great Vacation.

Nancy + Harold ___

The temperature is in the 90s, but there’s still a person running around in a mostly black mouse suit. How they heck can they avoid instant heat stroke? When we visit Disney World during the summer, we always expect there to be costumed cast members strewn here and there all around the place, unconscious from the heat, but we never see any. They must drag them backstage really fast.

Hi Uncle Fred and Aunt Eva.

It’s great down here in Florida. We are here with the highs chool band. We participated in the Citrus Festival. The rest of the time we spent at Circus World, Cypris gardens, and Disney world. There’re to much to see in the short time we are here. The bus ride was too long, 30 hrs.

Bill and Joamne

The long bus ride is exactly why you should never stay at an off-site hotel. 30 hours to get to the Magic Kingdom is just excessive.

Hi Marion + Walter

Nice to hear that you had nice Holidays. We did too, had six for dinner.

Frank and I are just fine. Enjoying 75° to 80° weather. Our love Lee + Frank.

come on down

Will take you here if you come down.

Brags about eating six people and then spends the rest of the message saying how nice it is where they are and begging you to come visit. Nope, nothing suspicious about that.

“it’s a small movie”

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014

Today, Disney announced that an “it’s a small world” feature film is currently in production. Although details are few at this time, we have confirmed that the soundtrack will consist entirely of one movie-length song.

In other news:

  • The Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln movie was cancelled, and then reinstated after an outcry from Disney fans.
  • Filming for the Carousel of Progress movie has been moved to Florida.
  • The Magic Skyway movie has been cancelled, but an already completed section of it featuring dinosaurs will be reused in the upcoming Disneyland Railroad feature film.

AUNTIE ANN IS KNITTING A SCARF FOR SHELLEY.

LOVE, AUNTIE JEAN

So, Auntie Jean, why the yelling? She’s probably half deaf from listening to that song over and over.

Wed.

My sister + I are on a 16 day bus tour to Fla. Great so far. Temp. about 75° in the day – cool nights. D. World yesterday – Miami for 4 nights Sat. Anyway – we’re away from the snow.

Katherine

That’s kind of damning with faint praise, isn’t it? “How was Disney World?” “Well, at least it wasn’t snowing.”
